Abstract
Nowadays, there has been a greater media visibility about gender diversity. This is no different in animated films. However, it is remarkable in these products the construction of these characters based on stigmas or taboos, especially when dealing with the transsexualpopulation. When creating animated narratives, there is a urgency to treat this population with prudence, respecting their singularities and, if possible, dissolving prejudices. For analysis, it is chosen to work this subject in three commercial animations and in the graduation film Translado, exploring the symbologies and metaphors used.

Abstract
This research analyses the artistic creation process of a short animation film called the Tempest. Created in 2010, by Brasilian director Cesar Cabral at the Coala Film Studios (Santo André, São Paulo). The audiovisual production was shown at the 14th. Festival of English Culture. The narrative tells the fable of a lonely and passionate sailor confronting a storm. The creative procedural critique is basis of the methodology used in this research. It follows, step by step the creation and consequently the different manuscripts and ideas of a creative body whose understanding of the key elements produced different results. Through study of sketches, art direction layouts, still photographs, interviews with creators and annotations in different languages. Also included are tests and trials of the software used for editing. Without prior assumptions, the object of this work is to indicate and discuss the intersemiotic translations which constitute the Tempest and the contributions and dialogues established between the creators of the animation. The results were planned in graphical form to show the significant and possible meanings of the work under study.

Abstract
This work aims to discuss processes of self-representation in animated documentaries, from the analysis of the film Waltz with Bashir (Ari Folman, 2008). With this analysis, it seeks to understand modes of articulation between the field of documentary and animation, using elements of both as a possibility of self-representation in films that are related to the shared historic world. For this purpose, it develops a reflection on the establishment of different perspectives in the field of documentary studies and the ways available for animation to create representations. In addition, it dialogues with the various historical and conceptual approaches about the animated documentary, developed significantly over the past fifteen years. Finally, it develops a critical analysis of what Bill Nichols (1994) calls performative documentary and the considerations of Michael Renov (2004) about documentaries that deal with the autobiographical, to understand the animation as a way to put the director in history and establish a continuity with the past, weaving relationships between elements of documentary and animated images that provide other senses to the reported.

Abstract
In this text I describe the application of the educational product carried out for the preparation of the dissertation of the MNPEF (National Professional Master's Degree in Physics Teaching). The developed product is a text material to guide the production of stop motion animations in the teaching of Physics. The work is based on the concept of perception proposed by Gestalt thinkers. One of the main representatives of Gestalt, Arnheim criticizes the exclusion of intuition in science education as opposed to an overvaluation of inductive logical reasoning. This work is inspired by this criticism to propose a method of visual creation that can be adopted by the teacher as an alternative for visual production that does not depend on computer programming skills typically used in making educational animations and simulators. The creation of stop motion can also be a tool for exercising intuition when produced by students. As for the application in the classroom, both possibilities were tested: video creation by the teacher using concepts of visual perception in the study of movements and the production of videos by students to exercise their perception and also to test the ease of execution of the procedures. guidance material.

Abstract
The following project has as its main purpose to analyse a series of elements that compose the cinematic language applied to the 3D animation Inside Out (Pete Docter, Walt Disney Pictures; Pixar Animation Studios. 2015) and explore the correlations and the interdependency amongst them. Selecting this movie as the object of this study has multiple advantages, as it is a current piece and was conceived by two of the most respected animation studios, being a proper model to compare with the present scenario. Firstly, the historical facts about the subject are presented, flowing through the technological evolution and the development of methods that assist the processes of creating animations until the present day. Subsequently, it is necessary to measure the values of the oscillations and variations of data in each of the elements capable of analysis according to the duration of the movie; with the objective to explore the creation process of colors, musical compositions and the stereoscopy showcased in the movie. Parallel to that, all the results from all the diagrams created will be approached, and all of its respective components and their contributions to potencialize the dramaturgy convenient in certain parts of the plot, with the theoretical background on the layers of narrative structure from The Writer's Journey, by Cristopher Vogler. Finally, the results previously mentioned will be compared amongst each other, showcasing the behavior of these elements and their contributions as stimulators of the dramatic tension.
