Abstract
This work aims to discuss processes of self-representation in animated documentaries, from the analysis of the film Waltz with Bashir (Ari Folman, 2008). With this analysis, it seeks to understand modes of articulation between the field of documentary and animation, using elements of both as a possibility of self-representation in films that are related to the shared historic world. For this purpose, it develops a reflection on the establishment of different perspectives in the field of documentary studies and the ways available for animation to create representations. In addition, it dialogues with the various historical and conceptual approaches about the animated documentary, developed significantly over the past fifteen years. Finally, it develops a critical analysis of what Bill Nichols (1994) calls performative documentary and the considerations of Michael Renov (2004) about documentaries that deal with the autobiographical, to understand the animation as a way to put the director in history and establish a continuity with the past, weaving relationships between elements of documentary and animated images that provide other senses to the reported.

Abstract
In this text I describe the application of the educational product carried out for the preparation of the dissertation of the MNPEF (National Professional Master's Degree in Physics Teaching). The developed product is a text material to guide the production of stop motion animations in the teaching of Physics. The work is based on the concept of perception proposed by Gestalt thinkers. One of the main representatives of Gestalt, Arnheim criticizes the exclusion of intuition in science education as opposed to an overvaluation of inductive logical reasoning. This work is inspired by this criticism to propose a method of visual creation that can be adopted by the teacher as an alternative for visual production that does not depend on computer programming skills typically used in making educational animations and simulators. The creation of stop motion can also be a tool for exercising intuition when produced by students. As for the application in the classroom, both possibilities were tested: video creation by the teacher using concepts of visual perception in the study of movements and the production of videos by students to exercise their perception and also to test the ease of execution of the procedures. guidance material.

Abstract
The following project has as its main purpose to analyse a series of elements that compose the cinematic language applied to the 3D animation Inside Out (Pete Docter, Walt Disney Pictures; Pixar Animation Studios. 2015) and explore the correlations and the interdependency amongst them. Selecting this movie as the object of this study has multiple advantages, as it is a current piece and was conceived by two of the most respected animation studios, being a proper model to compare with the present scenario. Firstly, the historical facts about the subject are presented, flowing through the technological evolution and the development of methods that assist the processes of creating animations until the present day. Subsequently, it is necessary to measure the values of the oscillations and variations of data in each of the elements capable of analysis according to the duration of the movie; with the objective to explore the creation process of colors, musical compositions and the stereoscopy showcased in the movie. Parallel to that, all the results from all the diagrams created will be approached, and all of its respective components and their contributions to potencialize the dramaturgy convenient in certain parts of the plot, with the theoretical background on the layers of narrative structure from The Writer's Journey, by Cristopher Vogler. Finally, the results previously mentioned will be compared amongst each other, showcasing the behavior of these elements and their contributions as stimulators of the dramatic tension.

Abstract
The research herein is consolidated in fantastical narratives presented in animation movies allied with deep perception exploration. Its development aims to investigate how visual resources are used in animation movies to emphasize fantastical narratives in current contexts. The focus is placed on animations made by digital three-dimensional environment and on the use of stereoscopy working as tools that influence on the composition of narrative tension. The study is based upon the animation movies "How to Train Your Dragon" (DreamWorks, 2010), "How to Train Your Dragon 2" (DreamWorks, 2014) and "Frozen" (Disney, 2013) because of the fantastical storytelling, which evaluates their relations with stereoscopy's visuality and three-dimension digital space. At first a historical background to consolidate stereoscopy and animation techniques is described, which leads to contemporary cinematographic scenery and the use of 3D modeling. Then the research is directed to the study of film narratives previously mentioned followed by an evaluation of three-digital-dimensional language and the three-dimension characters building, in addition to their physical and psychological characteristics. In the end of the study, an analysis of the use of stereoscopy alongside with the narrative, characters and settings modeling of the three movies is proposed, verifying the stereoscopic space use in scenes with different dramatic intensity and how stereoscopy contributes to these narratives.

Abstract
The stereoscopic application is not in itself a technical novelty, because, already in 1838, the first device that allowed the stereoscopic display is designed. In the early years of its invention new apparatus were constructed in an attempt to combine animation with stereoscopy. The 1910s and 1920s are marked by the beginning of the use of stereoscopy in the cinema and at the end of the 1930s in film animation. Since then, there have been periods of great productivity alternated by periods of relative calm. Today, we live in a time in which stereoscopy comes back to matter in the film scene, especially in animated films. This research builds a historical overview of stereoscopy, stereoscopic cinema and stereoscopic animated film. It also exposes the particularities of a stereoscopic audiovisual piece and discusses the specifics of the application of stereoscopy in animated films. Using as reference periods of stereoscopic film according to the author Ray Zone, this research aims to analyze the use of stereoscopy in animations from different historical periods. The selected works for the analysis are: Motor Rhythm (1952), Starchaser: The Legend of Orin (1985) and Brave (2012). In order to verify the implementation of stereoscopy and the role of parallax in the pieces chosen, an analysis methodology was developed so that we could be able to determine the application of stereoscopy within an audiovisual work while also addressing its narrative composition.
